Encouraging industry leaders to embrace a global perspective, he urged EPCs to shift away from protectionist measures and actively participate in international trade. He reiterated that the success of the Viksit Bharat Mission, which envisions a prosperous India, relies on aligning industry efforts with consumer demand for high-quality, competitive products and services. India is projected to exceed Rs. 69,50,400 crore (US$ 800 billion) in exports this year, with the services sector making a significant contribution. He encouraged merchandise exporters to broaden their global reach and reassured them of strong trade ties with the United States, inviting them to communicate their concerns for better governmental support. Highlighting the Export Promotion Mission outlined in the budget, he urged industry stakeholders to provide input on strategies for expanding exports through new products, untapped markets and emerging exporters.
