India, once a major importer, now exports defence equipment to at least 92 countries under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Over the past 11 years, 27 crore people have been lifted out of poverty, and digital payments have significantly reduced reliance on cash. Mr. Seth also highlighted the daily construction of 34 km of National Highways, near-complete road connectivity to villages, and a 90% reduction in naxalism due to job creation and Mudra loans. India has surpassed Japan as the fourth-largest economy and is expected to overtake Germany by 2027.
