Raphe mPhibr, a drone manufacturer, has raised Rs. 855 crore (US$ 100 million) in new finance, the largest private capital raising in India's drone business, bolstering domestic military technology. The round was headed by General Catalyst, with participation from Think Investments, Amal Parikh, and family offices, totalling Rs. 1,240 crore (US$ 145 million). Raphe's drones were recently deployed during Operation Sindoor (May 2025), demonstrating their strategic importance.

Raphe mPhibr plans to use the new funding to enhance its aircraft design, engineering, and production capacities, meeting rising demand for indigenous aerospace technologies. Aligned with Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India, the company - founded in 2016 by Vikash and Vivek Mishra- produces defence-grade UAVs like the mR10, mR20, Bharat Drone, and X8. With over 600 employees, Raphe has developed 100+ proprietary technologies and operates a high-tech campus supporting diverse terrains and defence needs.
