Summary:
Operational instructions for the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA), a project to build 100 top-notch industrial parks around India, have been announced by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). The Union Cabinet approved the plan, which will cost ₹33,660 crore (US$3.53 billion) between FY27 and FY32. By building investment-ready hubs with plug and-play infrastructure, multimodal logistics, dependable utilities, digital governance systems, and sustainable characteristics, it seeks to fortify India's manufacturing environment. A competitive approach based on infrastructure, connectivity, ecological strength, and sustainability will be used in phase one to choose up to 50 parks. It will be executed through SPVs with NICDC as the project management agency, supporting investment, employment, and industrial expansion throughout India. It is in line with Make in India and PM Gati Shakti.
