Technologies like the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and collaborative robots (cobots) support real-time data exchange and enhance human-machine cooperation. In India, government-led initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and increasing digitalisation are accelerating AI adoption in manufacturing. However, aligning workforce skills with advanced technologies remains critical in fully harnessing the potential of Industry 5.0.
