Summary:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched railway and highway projects in Odisha totaling $453.6 million (Rs 3,800 crore). In Bhubaneswar, he laid the groundwork for railway projects worth over $334.2 million (Rs 2,800 crore) and highway projects amounting to over $119.4 million (Rs 1,000 crore). He also met beneficiaries of the PM Awas Yojana-Urban.

 

PM Modi inaugurated the Subhadra scheme, which will provide eligible adults aged 21 to 60 with $5.97 billion (Rs 50,000) over five years (2024-2029). Beneficiaries will receive $119.37 (Rs 10,000) annually in two installments. To date, 76 lakh women have enrolled, with over $149.2 million (Rs 1,250 crore) already distributed to 25 lakh women.
