The NIRF evaluates institutions based on five parameters: teaching and resources, research, graduation outcomes, outreach, and perception. A total of 10,885 higher education institutions participated in NIRF 2024. The methodology, developed by a Core Committee and adopted in 2015, defines the ranking parameters for universities and institutions.
