Summary:

Domestic sales for India’s top two-wheeler manufacturers increased in October, driven by the festival season. TVS Motor, Hero MotoCorp, and Royal Enfield all saw YoY growth ranging from 13% to 26%. TVS led with a 13% increase, selling 390,489 units, while Hero MotoCorp grew by 17.4%, reaching 657,403 units, thanks to its 'Grand Indian Festival of Trust.' Royal Enfield saw the greatest increase at 26%, selling 101,886 bikes.

 

In terms of exports, Indian motorcycle manufacturers also experienced strong growth. TVS Motor’s exports rose by 16%, totaling 87,670 units. Hero MotoCorp saw a 43% increase, while Bajaj Auto’s exports grew by 24%, reaching 158,463 units. Royal Enfield experienced a remarkable 150% surge, driven by expansion in South Asia and Latin America. Despite challenges, the festive season fueled significant domestic sales growth across the industry.
