Real estate investing in india

Summary:

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has issued its Living Planet Report, which ranks India's food consumption patterns as the most sustainable among G20 countries. According to the report, global adoption of India's approach would reduce climate impact. In contrast, Argentina, Australia, and the United States are considered less sustainable. It cautions that if current consumption trends continue, greenhouse gas emissions could surpass the 1.5°C threshold by 263% by 2050, necessitating up to seven Earths for sustainability.

If other nations followed India's food consumption patterns, the globe would require fewer than one Earth (0.84) by 2050 to support food production, placing India's model slightly above the planetary climate boundary for food. In comparison, Argentina's consumption trends would require 7.4 Earths, making it the least sustainable system. The report applauds India's efforts to promote climate-resilient millets through the National Millet Campaign, emphasizing how sustainable diets can minimize land usage while also supporting nature restoration, carbon sequestration, and alternative protein sources.
