Summary:

Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) provides comprehensive medical treatment to Insured Persons (IPs) and their families through 165 hospitals and 1,590 clinics across India. Over the past decade, ESIC has approved 97 new hospitals and partnered with public, private, and PMJAY-accredited institutions to deliver cashless inpatient and advanced treatment in areas lacking ESI facilities.

ESIC has increased the rates for Permanent Disablement Benefit (PDB) and Dependents' Benefits (DB). A new system now provides medical care, including Super Specialty Treatment, to retired contributors. Initiatives such as Aadhaar-based identification, online platforms for IP updates, and cash benefit claim portals aim to enhance service delivery, reflecting ESIC's commitment to upgrading and expanding its services for beneficiaries.
