Mr. Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary of DPIIT, outlined the government's plan to establish industrial parks in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a framework expected by the year’s end. He discussed the success of the US$ 23.34 billion Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) program, which has attracted US$ 17.30 billion in investments across 14 sectors, driving technology and exports. Bhatia also emphasized India’s flexible foreign direct investment policies, fostering collaboration, and supporting the Startup India initiative, which has registered 1.53 lakh entrepreneurs.
