The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is using India to test decarbonisation technologies, aiming to scale these solutions to other developing countries. GEAPP’s CEO, Woochong Um, believes India offers a unique chance to address climate challenges. GEAPP has directed Rs. 861.10 crore (US$ 100 million) of its global funding to India and plans to increase investments. The organization launched initiatives like MDTF, DUET, and ENTICE 2.0 to boost India’s clean energy transition.
