To ensure timely travel during Chhath and Diwali, Indian Railways will operate 164 special trains on Wednesday. These trains, announced by Executive Director Mr. Dilip Kumar, will run from locations such as Secunderabad, Ahmedabad, and New Delhi to destinations in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
To enhance efficiency, Indian Railways will add 7,000 additional journeys nationwide with these special trains. Officers will be available to assist passengers around the clock, with support from the Railway Police Force, commercial staff, and self-help groups (SHGs). During the holiday season, extra seating and resting facilities have been set up in crowded areas to enhance passenger comfort.
