IndiaAI, under the Digital India Corporation, has partnered with Microsoft to drive AI adoption across India. The collaboration aims to skill 500,000 individuals, including students, educators, developers, and women entrepreneurs, by 2026. Microsoft will establish AI Catalysts in Tier II and III cities, nurture 100,000 innovators, and set up AI labs in 20 National Skill Training Institutes to empower 100,000 students through foundational AI courses.

 

The partnership aims to make India a global leader in AI by creating an inclusive AI ecosystem. Microsoft will help 1,000 AI startups with credits and mentorship. Together, they will work on AI models for Indian languages, ensure responsible AI use, and set up an AI Safety Institute. This will make AI more accessible, empower underserved communities, and help India become a leader in AI.
