Summary:

The PM-KISAN program keeps improving Indian farmers' financial inclusion and income stability. 9.44 crore farmers, including 2.18 crore women, received Rs. 18,880 crore on June 20, 2026, as part of the 23rd installment. Through DBT, the program has disbursed more than Rs. 4.46 lakh crore since 2019, giving qualified families Rs. 6,000 a year for agricultural costs. For ongoing assistance, the Union Budget 2026–2027 set aside Rs. 60,000 crore. Through Aadhaar authentication, e-KYC, online registration, and mobile services, PM-KISAN further advances digital government. Together with programs like AgriStack and Kisan-eMitra, it has strengthened inclusive rural development through technology-driven governance, boosted productivity, improved access to agricultural services, and supported sustainable growth and modernised India's agricultural ecosystem for future resilience.
