The Varkey Group's GEMS Education India intends to increase its footprint in India's education industry by investing Rs. 284.13 crore (US$30 million) over the course of the next three to five years. More than 30 GEMS-operated schools, a network of more than 1,000 GEMS Partner Schools, and a School of Education for teacher preparation, leadership development, and research are all part of the plan. Over three million students will gain from the program, and over 200,000 teachers will have chances. The first five of the 21 school projects that GEMS India has identified will launch in various states in 2026.
