The licensing procedure for household insecticides has been streamlined, with QR codes taking the place of traditional inserts and application forms being reduced from three pages to one. Eliminating dual approvals has also made it easier to register fertilisers under the Fertiliser Control Order. Additionally, PQMS and ICEGATE have digitally integrated all 649 customs ports for single-window import applications. Through integrated digital agricultural services, the AI-powered Bharat-VISTAAR platform has now responded to over 44 lakh farmer enquiries across the country.
