With 8,543 units, up 77.17%, Tata Motors was in the lead, followed by JSW MG Motor with 5,006 units and Mahindra & Mahindra with 5,413. Increased customer confidence in EVs, expanded model availability, and enhanced charging infrastructure all contributed to growth. Sales of two-wheelers increased by 60.73% to 1,48,740 units. Ather sold 27,034 units, up 102.78%, Bajaj 32,898 units, and TVS Motor 37,683 units, up 88.64%. Sales of three-wheeler EVs increased 3.3% year over year to 64,549 units. Overall development demonstrates India's rapid transition to sustainable transportation, which is backed by investment, technology, and policy in the country's largest metropolitan areas.
