Summary:
In order to improve trade, investment, digital payments, financial services, infrastructure, and emerging technologies, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal met with senior Greek ministers. Fintech, industrial cooperation, aviation, maritime connectivity, sustainable mobility, and robust supply chains were all discussed, which reflects the two nations' expanding strategic alliance. Bilateral commerce between Greece and India rose from US$689.33 million in FY21 to US$1.68 billion in FY25, indicating growing business connections. By 2030, both countries hope to double bilateral trade to about US$4 billion through more investment, more robust corporate alliances, and diversified commerce in manufacturing, technology, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy. It is anticipated that the collaboration will enhance supply chains, increase innovation, and increase India's market share in Europe.
