Over the past 12 years, significant expenditures in infrastructure, insurance coverage, digital health, and disease-control initiatives have completely changed India's healthcare system. Ayushman Bharat, which provides vulnerable families with more affordable access and financial protection, is at its core. Nearly 12 crore families are covered up to Rs. 5 lakh annually under AB-PMJAY, which also supports 12.03 crore hospital admissions and issues over 44.14 crore Ayushman cards. Through 1.86 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandirs that have recorded 540 crore patient visits, it has reinforced grassroots care and funded more than Rs. 1.80 lakh crore in treatment. With 20.49 crore registrations and 47 crore consultations completed by eSanjeevani and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, digital healthcare has grown nationally, increasing access, affordability, and universal coverage.
