During the India-Norway Business and Research Summit in Oslo, which was attended by Crown Prince Haakon, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the two countries deepened their commercial ties. The India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), which aims to create one million jobs in India and investments totalling Rs. 9.43 lakh crore (US$100 billion), was the main topic of discussion. Both nations investigated collaboration in the areas of digital infrastructure, vital minerals, healthcare, shipbuilding, renewable energy, and startups. Additionally, cooperation in green hydrogen, maritime decarbonisation, climate finance, sustainability, and technologies in line with India's Viksit Bharat vision was emphasised in the updated Green Strategic Partnership.
