Summary:

Through agreements in digital payments, healthcare, space, maritime cooperation, agriculture, and infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's State Visit to the Seychelles improved bilateral relations. India and Seychelles signed Memorandums of Understanding to implement UPI, provide reasonably priced medications through the Jan Aushadhi Scheme, encourage peaceful space collaboration, and improve diplomatic, agricultural, and seafarer training. A Fast Patrol Vessel, utility cars, ambulances, boats, rice, cement and a Line of Credit for infrastructure projects were among the development aid that India also announced. Initiatives commemorating 50 years of diplomatic ties as well as cutting-edge defence and education projects were started by both countries. In order to strengthen collaboration in sustainable development, regional connectivity, and long-term economic partnership, Seychelles also joined the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure.
