After surpassing US$1 billion in 2024, bilateral trade increased by almost 28% to a record Rs. 15,305.43 crore (US$1.81 billion) in 2025. Between 2021 and 2025, India's exports to Slovakia increased significantly, with automotive parts, engineering goods, machinery, electronics, and medicines leading the way. Slovakia's imports also rose, mostly in the form of machinery and passenger cars, indicating a more integrated supply chain. Major Indian enterprises working in Slovakia, such as TCS and other engineering and transportation companies, as well as the Tata Group's Jaguar Land Rover plant in Nitra, are increasing investment collaboration. Slovak businesses are bolstering industrial cooperation in India by investing in manufacturing, energy, railroads, and technology.
