Through video conference, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the Tanakpur-Pilibhit service to Shahjahanpur and the Nanded-Mumbai Express and Tanakpur-Nanded Express. In addition to giving the Sikh community direct access to Hazur Sahib and bolstering transit connections in Maharashtra, the new services will increase connectivity throughout Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra. Additionally, the Tanakpur-Agra service has been regularised. The Ministry emphasised significant advancements in railway infrastructure, including as 99.60% electrification and 37,000 km of new lines. While freight corridors are growing, the MumbaiAhmedabad Bullet Train project is moving forward.
