In order to improve infrastructure and connectivity, Nitin Gadkari examined significant National Highway projects in Maharashtra as well as High-Speed and High-Density Corridors. Projects like the four-laning of Taloda-Burhanpur and the six-laning of Nagpur-Bhandara and Pune-Satara were discussed at the meeting in New Delhi. Along with NH-44 renovations, important routes including Nagpur-Hyderabad, Gwalior-Nagpur, and Durg-Gadchiroli-Mancherial were also discussed. Nine Build-Operate-Transfer projects totaling 527 km were also examined, including sections of NandedNarsi-Deglur and Shirur-Ahilyanagar. In order to bolster regional growth, boost trade, and greatly increase overall transportation efficiency throughout Maharashtra's growing national highway network, the emphasis remained on quicker execution, better logistics, and corridor-based development.
