Summary:

Maruti Suzuki India has signed an MoU with Gujarat’s Directorate of Employment and Training to establish five Advanced Manufacturing Labs at ITIs across the state. These labs in Palanpur, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Godhra and Dahod will provide hands-on training in modern automotive manufacturing and industry-standard practices. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between technical education and workplace requirements, improving student employability and supporting Gujarat’s industrial growth. Maruti Suzuki currently supports 31 ITIs and 18 Advanced Manufacturing Labs nationwide in manufacturing-related trades. With the addition of five new labs, its total AMLs will rise to 23 across seven states and Union Territories. The initiative will strengthen industry-academia collaboration and create a future-ready workforce for India's manufacturing ambitions.
