Summary:
Under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme, more than 2,500 Indian craftsmen have received artificial intelligence training from the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME). Through the use of contemporary digital technologies, this program assists artisans in expanding their market reach, earnings, and skill sets. Simple training sessions tailored to local needs were attended by 2,543 individuals from various trades. They learnt how to use AI tools for business activities, such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Indus. To expand their enterprises, they received training in branding, product design, packaging, and internet marketing. In order to reach more buyers online, artisans also learnt how to produce product descriptions and photos. India's digital ecosystem is strengthened as a result.
