With government support, costs will be reduced to under Rs. 100 (US$ 1.14) per hour, making it significantly cheaper than global alternatives. Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reaffirmed India’s ambition to lead in AI, even as the country navigates legal challenges, including copyright disputes involving OpenAI.
