Summary:

As IT businesses rebound from previous downturns and ramp up recruiting, a survey predicts an 8.5% growth in sector employment opportunities by the following year. Following a period of stagnation, demand for qualified IT experts is increasing. According to Indeed, this predicted recruiting boom is supported by statistics from the Indeed Hiring Tracker, which shows a healthy employment market rebound.

The survey reveals that roughly 70% of current tech jobs on Indeed are for software roles, driven by advances in AI, machine learning, and blockchain. This need is fueled by the strong software startup sector, which prioritizes recruiting for positions like Application Developer, Software Engineer, and Full-Stack Developer. The demand for .NET developers, software architects, and other technical specialists is also rising. Indeed India's Head of Sales, Mr. Sashi Kumar, noted that, despite earlier hiring slowdowns, the IT sector is currently rebounding, with Global Capability Centres increasing recruitment, particularly in software and technology areas.
