Did you know about the ISF's latest annual employment report on the growth in India's flexi staffing industry?

 

Summary:

The ISF presented its most recent annual employment report, revealing a 15.3% increase in the flexible staffing industry during FY24. ISF members hired an additional 220,000 workers, bringing total employment to 1.6 million. Demand was driven by sectors such as FMCG, e-commerce, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, logistics, banking, and energy.

According to the data, general staffing increased by 16.2%, while IT staffing decreased by 4.4%. However, IT staffing showed improvement later, focusing on productivity. The staffing industry has had a significant impact on social security by providing formal employment opportunities, promoting skill development, and ensuring fair remuneration, thereby increasing women's workforce participation.
